Administration Department is the fulcrum that coordinates the functioning of the entire Local Government. The Departmental function is:-

  • Coordination and supervision of District and Urban Administration and the key output areas cover Human Resource Management,
  • Capacity Building Planning and implementation,
  • Supervision of District and LLG Program implementation,
  • Public Information collection,
  • Dissemination and management,
  • Registration of Birth,
  • Death and Marriages,
  • Procurement Services,
  • Records management,
  • Assets and facilities management and
  • Office support services.

The Department is headed by the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), who’s also head of the Civil service in the District. Currently, key Staffs manning the Department include:-

  • Mr. Nsubuga Zirimenya the CAO,
  • Mr. Akaka John Bosco, the ACAO,
  • Mr. Ocola Alfred the SHRO and head of the HR Unit,
  • Mr. Munguaciel Peter HRO and IT FP,
  • Ms. Nyamungu Jesca Procurement Officer and
  • Mr. Rwaga Martin Stores Assistant.
